CHMM

The CHMM credential is administered through the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM). The IHMM was established to evaluate and certify professionals working in the field of hazardous materials to assure that they maintain leadership-class competency through the rigorous requirements of the institute.

Requirements for holding the CHMM certification include a high level of professional experience, peer recommendations, an extensive exam, and periodic recertification based on continuing education and demonstrated leadership.

The prestigious CHMM credential is one of the most widely recognized certifications in the field having been integrated or recognized by public and private organizations such as New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, US Army Center for Health Promotion & Preventive Medicine, US National Park Service, US EPA, and many others.

Our CHMMs proudly support and participate in the DFW chapter and have each served as chapter officers over the past years. Currently our Director of Operations serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Managers.
